About Me
Rana is currently a junior at the University of Michigan – Dearborn. She is working to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Human Centered Engineering Design

What Is Human Centered Engineering Design?
Human Centered Engineering Design, also known as Human-Factor Engineering or Ergonomic
Engineering, is the science between design and human use. HCED is a way of thinking that
allows engineers to focus on the creation of a design and how a user would interact with such
design. Through creative thinking and problem solving skills, HCED engineers simultaneously
target efficiency and comfortability, all while keeping in mind thier customer's needs.
